While the safari was one of the coolest experiences yet, there were several others while we were there. We stayed in a location that was up in the trees. Here’s a list of really awesome locations if you’d like to stay our and amongst the animals and nature. While we were there, we got to see a number of animals located within the property. The first of the animals were the wildebeest, and a few of the McDonald’s deer (aka, impalas). At night time, these cool little creatures that reminded me of a koala dropped down out of the trees to pick up the candies the hotel staff left out for them specifically for the purpose of viewing these little guys. They were absolutely adorable but were a bit skittish. The resort itself offered local foods to try and rooms with a view. The additions to the room included the lovely little geckos that would stick to the wall. There was plenty of space to head out on evening walks, although, I’m not sure that I would have tried it since I’m not sure that the large toothed animals get the memo to stay outside of the camp.
Here are a few lodging options for your travels. I think I’m in love. These places definitely look like the best of all worlds. Luxury on safari! For me, to enjoy a bit of luxury along with a little roughing it makes for a perfect vacation! I will be using this website the next time I travel:
Now if you want to get spoiled, check out this place. http://www.vuyanilodge.com
The place that is certainly on top of my to visit list will be Rwanda to try out a bit of gorilla trekking. From the pics I’ve seen, people get far too close to the animals. I’m not sure that I would want to get anywhere in this little guy’s view. King Kong is alive 😉
