So I am beginning to realize that I must be getting old. Halloween and Trick or Treating and watching all of the little people run from house to house. The terrorizers (my 5 year old nieces) this year dressed as pirates and came back with half of the candy store. I am not sure what happened but their bags did not seem to have tootsie rolls in them (hmmm… ok, or maybe they just disappeared once auntie got ahold of them, I just don’t know what happened). Lol.
Ok the size of the spiders in the neighborhood were ridiculous, especially the ones on the house. Creepy! There were minions, there were witches, and zombies, and a few other things I couldn’t name.
So we took our tails all over the neighborhood, margaritas in hand (yes, I said margaritas, stiff ones at that…how else do you get through an evening with a handful of screaming rugrats) and checked out the really super cool decorations people had. It’s a trip. People certainly have gone all out! We so had the need to have the kiddos check for tricks or rum. Yes…Yes..that’s it! Wouldn’t that be awesome. WE NEED to make a new holiday!
But the coolest of all was the live bat that fluttered around one of our neighbors homes. He certainly picked the right day!
I do hope that you all enjoy your remaining tricks and treats. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
